Alex Blanco

Senior Vice President, Global Supply Chain Officer

Alex Blanco

Alex Blanco is senior vice president & global supply chain officer. He joined Baxter in 2020 from Ecolab, where he served as executive vice president and chief supply chain officer and was responsible for 120 manufacturing plants and more than 200 distribution centers globally. 

Prior to joining Ecolab, Blanco worked at Procter & Gamble, where he held roles of increasing responsibility at the country, regional and global level in countries across Europe, as well as Colombia and Venezuela. He has more than 35 years of manufacturing and end-to-end supply chain experience.

Blanco received his bachelor of science degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Princeton University. He is a member of the board of directors of Patterson Companies, Inc.
