Our Corporate Responsibility Council is led by global executives and subject matter experts from across the company. The Council helps oversee our corporate responsibility strategies and lead the integration of our efforts throughout our business.

Promote inclusion, diversity and employee engagement through building diverse, high-performing teams that are engaged and innovative, and advancing company culture so that every employee feels valued, respected and safe to be their authentic self
Ethics and Compliance
Drive a culture of integrity and the highest ethical behavior by achieving zero government enforcement actions over compliance issues and reaching compliance culture scores in the top quartile of general industry benchmarks
Employee Health and Safety
Achieve a zero-harm workplace and improve employee well-being by achieving top quartile performance in Total Recordable Incidence Rate (TRIR) and by increasing participation in the BeWell@Baxter program
Operations
Reduce environmental footprint through increased efficiency and resource conservation by pursuing zero waste-to-landfill at all manufacturing locations and reducing GHG emissions, energy and water use, and waste generation
Responsible Procurement and Logistics
Implement world-class sustainability practices with key partners through increasing our spending with diverse suppliers and expanding our green transport partnerships

Improve access to healthcare for the underserved by proactively pre-positioning our products with humanitarian partners, allocating grants from the Baxter International Foundation and launching new business models in emerging markets
